You can setup an optional list of rates for fees and expenses. These rates are used to override matter, account or timekeeper rates when creating billing records.
Navigate to AdvologixPM Setup Tab

Choose Rate Table

New Rate

Click New Rate button

Rate Name - Set desired name for new rate
Rate - Set desired amount for new rate
Charged Per - Set desired 'charge by / per' type for new rate:
- Hour
- Item
Rate Type - Set desired type for new rate:
- Time
- Expense
Rate Group - [Optional] Set to desired rate group new rate
Matter - [Optional] Set desired matter for new rate
Timekeeper - [Optional] Set to desired timekeeper associated with new rate
Active - Set to active to be able to use new rate
Default - [Optional] Set to the desired name for a new rate. This option does not affect default rates in the system. This is simply a marker for users to see an intended default rate when using the rate table lookup, not the rate type on the billing creation/edit page.
