Introduction to Courts

This article is an introduction to Courts.

What are Courts?

Courts in AdvologixPM allow you to keep track of the contact and related information for the courts you work with most frequently.  In addition, you can see related cases assigned to each court, and provide web addresses to easily access the court's web site and on line docket information.

How Do I View Courts?

  • Go to the All Tabs (+) and select Courts.
  • Go to the Quick Start | Read More | Go There Now next to Courts & Jurisdictions
  • Go to AdvologixPM Setup | Global Setup | Advologix Courts
  • Use the global search to search for a specific Court record.

How Do I Edit Courts?

Go to the All Tabs (+) and select Courts.  Select the Court from the list view and select the Edit button.

How Do I Create A Court?

AdvologixPM Setup

Navigate to the AdvologixPM Setup tab.

Go to the General Setup and select Advologix Courts.

Quick Start Tab

Navigate to the Quick Start tab.

  1. Click Read More to enlarge the data
  2. Click Go There Now next to Courts and Jurisdictions
Courts Tab

Go to the All Tabs (+) and select Courts.  Select the Court from the list view.

Select the New Court button.

  1. Enter the Court Information
    • Optionally, enter an Alternate Name for courts known as more than one name.
    • Optionally, enter a Court Code that you use for court identification in your firm.
  2. Enter the Court's Address data
  3. Click SAVE to add the Court to Advologix.
    • Optionally, Save by clicking SAVE & NEW to Open a blank NEW Court create page and proceed to add another Court.
