Contacts are a core component of a good Case Management system. Thanks to the Force.com platform, AdvologixPM has the best in class platform to build our legal contact management system. Contacts may optionally be assigned to an Account which provides relevant business hierarchy for Contacts within organizations. Contacts are very critical for profiling Matter relationships such as co-counsel, opposition, insurance reps, and so on.
Contacts Tab

Clicking the Contacts Tab brings you to the 'Contacts tab home page'.
The Contacts tab displays a home page that lets you quickly create and locate all types of contacts.
Contacts List Views

You can also sort and filter your accounts using standard and custom list views.
- To show a filtered list of items, select a predefined list from the View drop-down list and click GO to open that list
- Click Create New View to define your own custom view.
- To edit or delete any view you created, select it from the View drop-down list and click Edit.
Recent Contacts

- From Recent Contacts, you can click any contacts name to go directly to the contact detail. Toggle the Show 25 items and Show 10 items links to change the number of items that display.
- The fields you see are determined by the “Contacts Tab” search layout defined by your administrator and by your field-level security settings
- Alternatively, click New to create a NEW contact.
- Select an item from the drop-down list to display a brief list of the top contacts matching that criteria.
Recently Viewed - The last ten or twenty-five contacts you viewed, with the most recently viewed contact listed first. This list is derived from your recent items and includes records owned by you and other users.
Recently Created - The last ten or twenty-five contacts you created, with the most recently created contact listed first. This list only includes records owned by you.
Recently Modified - The last ten or twenty-five contacts you updated, with the most recently updated contact listed first. This list only includes records owned by you.
Reports

- Under Reports, click any report name to jump to that report.
- Alternatively, click Go To Reports to navigate to the reports Tab.
Tools

Select any of the links under Tools to access utilities for managing your accounts.
