Because of the tight integration between Advologix and NetDocuments, you can create workspaces automatically in NetDocuments, directly from viewing a Matter in Advologix. You can enable this functionality by adding the Add To NetDocs button to any of your Matter Page Layouts.
Add the Create Workspace Button
To add the Create Workspace button to the Matter layout, as an administrator in AdvologixPM, open and view a matter. Click on Edit Layout in the top right of the Matter layout. You will need to repeat this process for each Matter layout that you have.
- In the layout toolbar, click on the Buttons section.
- Drag the Open Create Workspace button to the Custom Buttons section, immediately below.
- Click Save
Create a NetDocuments Workspace
Click the Create Workspace button. A window will immediately pop up from NetDocuments that says:
The lookup table import has been queued for processing. You will be notified via an email message to [email protected] when processing is completed.
Close this window.
Now back viewing your Advologix matter (after waiting about 30 seconds). Refresh the page. If you have implemented the NetDocuments viewer on your Matter Layout, you will immediately see the new workspace you have just created. Otherwise, use your Open NetDocs button to open and view your new workspace.
