This article illustrates how to add the NetDocuments viewer and button to a Matter page layout.
Modify a Matter Page Layout
To add the NetDocuments button to the Matter layout, as an administrator in AdvologixPM, open and view a matter. Click on Edit Layout in the top right of the Matter layout. You will need to repeat this process for each Matter layout that you have.
Option 1: Open NetDocuments in Full Page View
- In the layout toolbar, click on the Buttons section.
- Drag the Open NetDocs button
- Place it in the Custom Buttons section in figure 3, immediately below.
- Save
Option 2: Viewing NetDocuments Directly on the Matter Layout
- Scroll down the layout to the Custom Links section
- In the Layout toolbar, add a new section below Custom Links.
3. Complete the new section Properites
4. Click on the Visualforce Pages section and drag the Matter Related ND Documents Visualforce page into the new section.
5. Hover over the new section and click the Wrench icon to show the screen above. Set the height to 400 and check the Show Scrollbars option.
6. Add the following fields, by dragging and dropping them, somewhere on your Matter layout: ND Client, ND Client Desc, ND Matter, ND Matter Desc.
7. Click Save at the top left of the layout editor to save your Matter layout changes.
