Drag-and-drop tools is used for editing page layouts and an easier-to-use WYSIWYG interface.
Customize a Page Layout
- Click on your Name in the top right of the application.
- Select setup
Go to the Object's Page Layout
Go to one of the following areas to edit the page layouts of Accounts, Contacts, Activities or other Standard objects in the system.
Edit a Custom Object Page Layout
To Edit Custom Objects page layouts, after you click on Object link, you will need to select the object to your wish.
Select the Custom Object Name
Click the name of the object in the list.
Select the Page Layout to Modify
Hover over the Page Layouts related list quick links and select Edit next to the page layout you wish to modify.
Use the Page Layout Editor to Modify
Drag & Drop the Fields, Buttons, Custom Links, Visualforce (VF) pages or Related Lists on to the page layout detail section.
