The following are suggested global configuration options for your Force.com developer system. These should be completed after all other steps have been done.
Navigate to Setup
Under App Setup | Customize | Activities | Activity Settings match these settings and optionally upload your own logo to be included in Meeting invitation emails:
Under App Setup | Customize | Search | Search Settings, enable Enhanced Lookups and Auto Completion for everything.
Under App Setup | Customize | User Interface enable all options except Collapsible Sidebar.
