There are several options to import data, from basic 'wizard' based import tool(s), to full featured database migration tools. Full instructions for each are beyond the scope of this document. The source and its complexity will determine the correct tool for you to use.
Options to import
Most data imports must be done in the form of CSV files exported from other systems. Depending on the complexity and your need to maintain relationships between importing, for example, matters related to their contacts, you will need to use the Data Loader tool. Data Loader can be downloaded from the link shown above. Instructions for use of this tool can be found:
