AdvologixPM Setup Overview

AdvologixPM allows legal and other professional service organizations to manage their cases and matters and all related activity, integrated with a complete time, billing, invoice and receivables management application.

The AdvologixPM Setup tab helps us in enabling the full functionality of our AdvologixPM application and users must be assigned to a profile that takes advantage of these features, because AdvologixPM changes some of the default functionality associated with the standard Salesforce.com Account, Contact, Task and Event management. As you can enable/disable features and programs, the main menu for features you do not intend to enable.

General Setup

General Setup
  • AdvologixPM Users: Create or edit AdvologixPM Users, the members of your legal team that login and use AdvologixPM.
  • Advologix Courts: Use the link  to view and configure the list of Courts.
  • Best practice Templates: Configure Advologix Best Practices Templates.
  • Autocomplete Codes: Autocomplete Codes to be used in Billing Description.
  • Configure Profile Access: Advologix changes some of the default functionality associated with the standard Tasks and Events. Users must be assigned to a profile that takes advantage of these AdvologixPM features.
  • Data Tools: Manage AdvologixPM

Billing Setup

Billing Setup
  • Advologix Billing Setup: Use billing setup to configure default settings, logos and apply global account statement template in your system that will utilize the saved values for invoicing.
  • Billing Timekeepers: Setup Timekeepers to be used for Billing Fees and Expenses. Timekeepers are associated with either an AdvologixPM User or Contact.
  • Fund Accounts: Create and update Fund Accounts.
  • Rate Table: Setup an optional list of rates for Fees and Expenses. These rates are used to override Matter, Account or Timekeeper rates when creating Billing records.
  • Account Statement Configurations: Configure the Account Statements look, feel and content generated for invoices and statements to your clients.
  • Beginning Balances: Use beginning balances to add beginning balances to Matters.

A collection of pre-processed actions to update certain data in the system.
