Add BestPractices Button to Matter Layout

When you install this package an BestPractices a custom button is created, but it is not immediately displayed in the page layout.

Add the Custom Button

Adding the Custom Button

Go to the Setup area for the system. Navigate to Create | Objects

Go to Matter Object

Click on Matter in the object list

Matter Page Layouts

Click on Page Layouts

Select Page Layout to Modify

Click Edit on the Matter Page Layout to which you wish to add the BestPractices button

Add the BestPractices button to the Page Layout
  1. Click the Buttons section of the Page Layout editor.
  2. Using your mouse, drag the BestPractices button to the Custom Buttons area shown in figure 3.
  3. In the Custom Buttons section, optionally move the buttons in the sort order you prefer.
  4. Click Save.

If you have multiple Matter page layouts, you will need to repeat this process for each.
