Create & Configure a User Profile

Advologix uses Salesforce Profiles to control and manage access to many of its features. To enable access to Advologix, you need to configure our app with profiles for standard Salesforce and Salesforce Platform licenses.  To use Advologix practice management, users do NOT need to have full Salesforce CRM licenses. To configure Advologix for your Salesforce profiles that you wish to have access and use the features of Advologix, complete the following steps.

Create an AdvologixPM Profile

Create an AdvologixPM user profile
  1. Navigate to Setup | Administration Setup | Manage Users | Profiles.
  2. Select Clone next to the  Standard Platform User profile.
  3. Name the new profile AdvoLogixPM.
  4. Select the Edit button.

The setting configurations shown below are the suggested setup for this profile.  The system administrator can change these to align with your organization's requirements.

Set the Custom App Settings so that the AdvologixPM app is visible and the default
Administrative Permissions
Set Administrative Permissions
General User Permissions
Set General User Permissions
Standard Object Permissions
Set Standard Object Permissions
Custom Object Permissions
Set Custom Object Permissions

Proceed to AdvologixPM Setup

In General Setup, select Configure Profile Access.

Click "Configure AdvologixPM Feature Access" link.

Enable Profile for AdvologixPM App

Enable the application for specific profiles, by checking against the profiles you assigned for the user.

Enable the application for specific profiles, by checking against the profiles you assigned for the user.  The following should be checked at minimum:

  • AdvologixPM
  • AdvologixPM (lite)
  • System Administrator
